By creating an account on, accessing, or otherwise using Cortix ("the Platform", "we", "us"), you ("User", "you") acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must immediately discontinue use of the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Cortix is an AI-powered financial analysis and educational tool. The Platform includes portfolio tracking, watchlists, AI-generated signals, market summaries, OCR-based import, and notification features.

CORTIX IS NOT A REGISTERED INVESTMENT ADVISOR, BROKER-DEALER, OR FINANCIAL INSTITUTION. NOTHING ON THIS PLATFORM CONSTITUTES INVESTMENT, TRADING, LEGAL, OR TAX ADVICE.

All content is provided for informational and educational purposes only. You remain solely responsible for your decisions and any resulting gains or losses.

4. AI Systems Disclaimer

Cortix uses third-party large language models (including Google Gemini). AI outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or inaccurate. You should independently verify all information before acting on it.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Cortix offers Free, Premium, and Pro plans. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe and may renew monthly or annually.

  • Subscription fees are non-refundable for partial periods.
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
  • We may update pricing with prior notice communicated in-app or by email.

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not break any applicable law.
  • Do not abuse automation, scrapers, bots, or attempts to reverse engineer the platform.
  • Do not interfere with platform integrity, security, or availability.

7. Intellectual Property

Platform content, brand, and software are owned by Cortix. You retain ownership of your own portfolio data. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to process your data to provide the service.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cortix is not liable for indirect or consequential damages related to your use of the Platform.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania.
